Terms of Use
Last updated 2 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Clozit covering your use of the Clozit app, the marketplace inside it, and theclozit.com. By creating an account or using Clozit, you agree to them. Please also read our Privacy Policy.
Clozit is a product of Lumi Labs LP (UEN T26LP0153L), a limited partnership registered in Singapore. In these terms, "Clozit", "we" and "us" mean Lumi Labs LP.
1. Your account
- You must be at least 13 to use Clozit. If you're under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission, and you may not buy, sell or swap on the marketplace.
- You sign in with your mobile number, or an email and password linked to it. Keep your phone, sign-in codes and password to yourself; you're responsible for what happens on your account.
- Give accurate information, and don't impersonate anyone or choose a handle that misleads people.
- One person, one account. Don't sell, transfer or share it.
2. Your content
You own the photos, descriptions, looks and messages you add to Clozit. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, process, resize, crop and display that content in order to run, improve and promote the parts of Clozit you use it in. For example, removing a photo's background, showing your listing to buyers, or showing a look you've made public on a listing. This licence ends when your content is deleted, except where it has been shared with other users (such as messages in an order) or we need to keep it as described in our Privacy Policy.
Only upload content you have the right to use. Don't upload photos of other people without their permission.
3. AI features
Clozit uses AI to identify your clothes, estimate their resale value and suggest outfits. AI can be wrong. Brands, materials, sizes and values it suggests are estimates, not appraisals or guarantees, and you're responsible for checking anything you rely on, especially details in a listing. Each account can generate a limited number of looks a day, as shown in the app.
4. The marketplace
- Clozit is a venue, not a party to the sale. Sales and swaps are between the buyer and the seller, or between the two people swapping. We don't own, inspect or guarantee the items, and we aren't a reseller or agent for either side.
- Trades happen in person. You agree a meetup time and place in the app. At the meetup, a handoff code confirms you've met the right person. Inspect the item before you pay or accept it.
- Buyers pay sellers directly, usually by scanning the seller's PayNow QR code at the meetup. Clozit doesn't hold or pass on the item price, so any problem with that payment is between the buyer and the seller.
- Sellers must describe items honestly (including condition and any flaws), set a price for every listing, including swap-only listings, and turn up to meetups they've agreed. Marking a listing as ready to go means a buyer's request is accepted automatically.
- Swaps must be between items of similar value, within the limits shown in the app. Any difference is settled in Orbits.
- Meet safely. Choose busy public places, tell someone where you're going, and leave if anything feels wrong. You're responsible for your own safety at meetups.
- Requests and orders that aren't acted on in time expire automatically, as shown in the app.
5. Platform fees and refunds
When you request to buy an item, you pay Clozit a platform fee. The amount, how to pay it, and when it's due are shown in the app before you commit. You can pay it by PayNow, with Orbits, or a mix of both. We confirm PayNow payments against our bank records, which can take up to 48 hours.
- When the sale completes, the part of the fee you paid in cash comes back to you as Orbits. Orbits you used toward the fee are not returned.
- If the order doesn't go ahead, we review fees paid in cash and refund them where you weren't at fault, for example if the seller declines or cancels or the order expires before it's accepted. We may keep the fee if you don't turn up to a meetup you agreed to.
- If you think a fee was handled wrongly, email support@theclozit.com with your order details.
We may change our fees. Changes won't affect orders you've already requested.
6. Orbits
- Orbits are reward points you can earn in Clozit, for example by completing missions or as the return of a platform fee on a completed sale.
- You can use Orbits toward platform fees and to settle the difference in a swap. They are worth S$1 per 1,000 Orbits when used this way.
- Orbits are not money. They can't be cashed out, sold, or transferred to another account, except when a swap settles in Orbits.
- Orbits expire 90 days after you earn them, and are lost if your account is closed.
- We may change how Orbits are earned and used. We can remove Orbits that were credited by mistake or obtained through fraud or abuse.
7. What you can list
You can only list items you own and have the right to sell. Don't list:
- counterfeit or replica items, or anything that infringes someone else's rights;
- stolen goods, or anything illegal to sell in Singapore;
- items recalled or unsafe to use;
- swimwear, bras, underwear or slips (bralettes are allowed);
- anything that isn't clothing, footwear or an item the app lets you list. Accessories and jewellery can be added to your wardrobe but can't be listed yet.
We may remove listings, or cancel orders for them, if we believe they break these terms.
8. Community rules
Don't:
- harass, threaten, scam or mislead other users, or use chat for anything other than arranging your trade;
- arrange to take a trade outside Clozit to avoid the platform fee;
- post content that's illegal, hateful, sexual, or violates someone's privacy;
- scrape, reverse-engineer, overload or interfere with Clozit, or access it with automated tools;
- create fake accounts, listings, orders or reviews, or game missions or Orbits.
To report someone, email support@theclozit.com with their handle and what happened.
9. Our app
Clozit, its name, logo, design and software belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app for its intended purpose while you follow these terms. If you send us feedback or ideas, we can use them without owing you anything.
10. Suspension and closing your account
You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Settings → Delete account), once you have no orders in progress. We may suspend or close your account, or limit what you can do, if you break these terms, put other users at risk, or if we're required to by law. Sections 2, 4, 5 and 11 to 12 continue to apply after your account is closed.
11. Disclaimers and liability
Clozit is provided "as is" and "as available". We're working hard on it, but we don't promise it will always be available, error-free, or that listings, valuations or suggestions are accurate.
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for: the items, conduct or payments of other users; anything that happens at a meetup; indirect or consequential losses; or loss of profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability to you for any claim related to Clozit is limited to the greater of the platform fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or S$100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.
You agree to compensate us for losses arising from content you post, items you list or trade, or your breach of these terms.
12. Changes, law and contact
We may update these terms as Clozit changes. We'll update the date at the top and, if a change is significant, take reasonable steps to let you know. If you keep using Clozit after a change takes effect, you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute about them. If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
